Maori played in her team’s game Friday night (Jan.11) thanks to an emergency motion by a PikeCounty Circuit Judge. Prior, she had been ineligible for her senior season due to a USA Basketball mistake, which was compounded by the AHSAA ridiculous enforcement of its eligibility rules. Meanwhile she gain some major support such as tweets from Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Demarcus Cousins, Jay Bilas, the list continued into organizations such as the WNBA to name one! After earning a starting position as SG for Team Carroll, he took the summer Gauntlets by storm. He lead his team to big wins against some of the countries top teams/players, including a 13pt performance to defeat the top ranked Compton Magics at the Adidas Gauntlet in CA. Javan is a 6'7 Sophmore at Troy University. Last season he slowly made his way on to the scene by working his way in to the starting lineup as a Freshman. He finished the season with an average of 6ppg and 2rpg. These stats say very little of what he has to offer, be on the look-out for Javan to lead the Trojans back to the top and once again become Sunbelt Champs. August 2018
Niaira "Tuti" Jones is a 5'7 Sophomore at Charles Henderson HS, in Troy,AL. The 2017-2018 5A State Champion (the first in school History), is aggressive on both ends of the floor. She is a floor general and hungry for wins. Tuti has great vision, can shoot the lights out from the 3point-line, and the epitome of a dog. The PG is preparing for her junior season with confidence, ready to win another Championship. Class of 2020 (Undecided)
The Duff Twins are two dynamic players, born and raised in Samson, Alabama. They have currently won their second State Title in the last three years. They both recently signed basketball scholarships to the #1 Juco in the Nation, Shelton State. We could brag all day about these two girls but just watch this video and we'll let their game speak for them. Class of 2022
